You can help with research about Supply Chain Resilience!

Please help Aaron Glassburner out with his research!
Mr. Kluis,

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of North Texas (UNT) who is seeking data from industry professionals regarding the concept of supply chain resilience. My dissertation chair, Dr. David Nowicki, and I are conducting research to better understand how firms use emerging information and communication technologies to achieve strong, resilient relationships with their buyers and suppliers.

As a valued member of the supply chain management profession, your insight and industry contacts are of great value to my research. The findings of this study may provide great insight to you through increased understanding of how information technology can be used to improve supply chain relationships, business performance, and customer value.

To this end, I would like to request a meeting with you and/or an appropriate management-level employee to discuss your company’s willingness to participate in a survey and interview. If your company is amenable to participating, please contact me (aaron.glassburner@unt.edu) to arrange a date and time suitable to your schedule. I am willing to meet in a format (in-person, telephone, or video-teleconference) convenient to your location and schedule.
If you are unable to meet with me, I am hoping you could assist us in recruiting 10-15 professionals from within your company and its external partnering firms who would be willing to answer a few survey questions. To complete the survey, they simply need to go this website: https://tinyurl.com/industryresilience.
The questionnaire will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Suitable survey participants include mid- to upper-level managers performing activities in areas such as, but not limited to: sales and operations planning; demand, order or inventory management; production planning and scheduling; procurement; or transportation management. As an incentive, survey participants can enter into a random drawing for an Amazon Echo Show (retail value of $200.00 USD).
We very much appreciate your help with this study. Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me via email or Dr. David Nowicki, CLER Director, at (940) 565-2367 or david.nowicki@unt.edu.
Regards,
